Description
Revealing the molecular signals involved in B and T cell activation is critical to the future discovery of therapeutics that can augment cell-mediated immune responses to disease.1,2,3 CD150 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is involved in signal transduction of antigen specific responses in B and T cells. It is expressed by activated B cells isolated from tonsils and peripheral blood, B cells in germinal centers and mantle zone of lymph nodes, immature thymocytes, and CD45RO+CD45RA- subpopulation of T cells.4,5 This antibody has been used to detect CD150 in neoplastic cells from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, hairy cell leukemia, and some tumors of ectodermal origin.6WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
